Musk on Diablo IV

Most of us already know that the X owner is part of the gaming community, based on several interviews where he has mentioned it. However, we don't really know much past that. With his plan to livestream his gameplay, we might just see how good he could be.

He announced that he would do a live speedrun of Diablo 4 on X on September 27th at 11 PM CT. Sadly, the tech billionaire had to postpone due to work, which was understandable given his current standing in several companies.

Musk moved the livestream schedule to 1 AM CT, which was yet again postponed since he was still working, and said that he would do so today, September 29th, so people would have to wait and see if he actually goes through with it this time.

In part, the livestream will be a way to test X's livestream scaling, as reported by Game Rant, but the Tesla CEO also said that people have asked him to stream himself playing video games. In regards to the part where he will actually play, he says not to expect much.

He said that by "speedrun," he meant "complete fairly quickly for an amateur," asking viewers to keep their expectations low. Musk will be doing a Tier 99 Nightmare dungeon on the game, all without using malignant hearts.

If you haven't played Diablo 4, malignant hearts actually give you an edge in gameplay as they are gems that grant the character increased stats as well as additional abilities. This could make the game much harder for the tech billionaire, which leads to a more entertaining watch.

Musk Even Wanted to be Part of a Game

The tech billionaire doesn't want to just be a gamer. Musk also wants to be part of a game, particularly Cyberpunk 2077. It was revealed recently that he asked the developers to include him, and he did so while holding a gun.

In his biography written by Walter Isaacson, it was said that Musk barged in on a recording session of his ex, Grimes, who is doing the voice for a character called Lizzy Wizzy. The Tesla CEO did say that even as he held the 200-year-old gun, he wasn't dangerous.

Despite that, Grimes said that the "studio guys were sweating," as reported by Gizmodo. You won't actually see Musk's likeness in the game, but, he might've inspired a character that you will see in a side mission.

The quest involving Grimes' character will have you confirm that his boyfriend is cheating, only to find out that he intends to make a duplicate of Lizzy Wizzy's consciousness or engram and put it in a chip. Some say it's close to what Musk is currently working on in Neuralink, which is a brain-computer interface brain implant.
