Nintendo added another iconic and influential RPG to their library of games for Switch, the Gothic Classic.

Nintendo Revamps Gothic Classic for Switch
Prior to its release, Nintendo addressed over 300 bugs and glitches on the original Gothic Classic. Moreover, the UI underwent an overhaul which resulted in a comprehensive UI and full gamepad support.
The Gothic Classic was first announced last August along with other games that will be added to the collection. As of writing, Gothic Classic is now available to play via Nintendo Switch.
The RPG can be digitally downloaded via Switch eShop while the physical copy can be ordered from THQ Nordic. Both versions cost $29.99 with an additional fee for the shipping cost that comes with the boxed edition.
Gothic Classic's Background
Gothic was originally released in 2021 as an action RPG for Microsoft Windows. The game was developed by Piranha Bytes. Over the years, the game got positive reviews from critics citing the game's storyline, complexity, and graphics.
Nintendo's release will be a good promotion for curious gamers who were not able to play the game during its original release.
