Nintendo Confirms Appearance of Super Mario Bros. Wonder's Fan Favorite Boss

Nintendo released a series of commercials for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder and revealed a comeback of fan favorite boss, King Boo.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder Commercials

Ahead of the Super Mario Bros. Wonder launch, Nintendo uploaded three commercials that previewed the entire gameplay. The entire game centers on the Super Mario gang as they explore the Flower Kingdom after an invitation from Prince Florian.

In commercial number one, fans were excited upon seeing a familiar boss. King Boo, who is the leader of all the ghosts and Boos, is known as the arch-nemesis of Luigi and an ally of Bowser. The ghost villain first appeared in 2001 at Luigi's Mansion and also made a special appearance during Bowser and Peach's wedding at "The Super Mario Bros. Movie."

Fans can expect King Boo to terrorize the gang as they try to save the Flower Kingdom. Aside from Mario, gamers can also play as Luigi, Peach, Daisy, one of the two toads, and Toadette. The commercials also revealed that players can use Yoshi or Nabbit for easier gameplay since these characters won't have to deal with damage.

Everything to Know About Super Mario Bros. Wonder

The upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder offers a jam-packed adventure with seven areas to explore excluding the side adventures that you can do by visiting open areas.

Previously, it was revealed that players can transform their characters into an elephant nose which is revealed to be useful in destroying and attacking enemies. In addition, there are also other power ups such as the bubble form, drill form, and the return of fire form.

It was also revealed that there will be changes in the badge system and additional gameplay hooks. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will launch on October 20 on Nintendo Switch.
