Stardew Valley's developer ConcernedApe surprised his fans after releasing screenshots of his upcoming action RPG called Haunted Chocolatier.

ConcernedApe Follows Stardew Valley's Success

Eric Barone, more known as ConcernedApe, single-handedly launched a successful game called Stardew Valley. Years after its success, Barone started working on Haunted Chocolatier in 2020 and the project was first announced in 2021.

Since then, Barone has been busy working with Haunted Chocolatier while at the same time improving Stardew Valley. The developer created a blog dedicated to updating fans about the game's development.

In celebration of achieving one million followers, Barone thanked his followers by releasing a sneak peek of his upcoming game title.

Everything About Haunted Chocolatier

In a blog post in 2021, Barone confirmed that the game has a great focus on combat. The developer also promised that it would be fun, satisfying, and engaging. Most importantly, he assured the fans that he is not copying and pasting Stardew's combat.

Haunted Chocolatier features a magical haunted ghost chocolate. In fact, the whole game is based on the premise of blending delight, the allure of the unknown, and the imprint of the past. "With my next game, I wanted to explore more fantastical possibilities... experiences that take you beyond the ordinary," Barone shared.

With the upcoming Stardew Valley update 1.6 still unreleased, it is safe to assume that Haunted Chocolatier will still be in the works for the next months.
