32GB Nokia Lumia 1520 available from AT&T on Jan. 10?

A new report claims that the long-awaited 32GB version of the AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet will land on the carrier's network on Jan. 10.

When Nokia officially unveiled the Lumia 1520 back in October it chose AT&T as the exclusive U.S. carrier for the first Windows Phone phablet. In the announcement, AT&T confirmed it would offer the Lumia 1520 in two storage configurations: 16GB and 32GB. The carrier claimed that it would begin selling the 16GB model, while the 32GB variant would be offered at a later date. A new report suggests that the long wait is nearly over and AT&T will make the 32GB Nokia Lumia 1520 available very soon.

According to a new Windows Phone Central report, AT&T will open up orders for the 32GB Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet beginning on Jan. 10. The site does not list a price for the 32GB variant but claims the smartphone will be available through DF (Direct Fulfillment) only, which means the 32GB Lumia 1520 will be available through online orders only and not via retail stores.

As a reminder, the AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520 features a 6-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD 1080P ClearBlack display that is also readable in the sunlight and can be used with gloves. The smartphone uses a powerful 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM to provide a fast and fluid user experience. The Lumia 1520 includes 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 64GB microSD cards to further increase its storage capacity.

Its camera capabilities include a high-end 20-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss Optics, optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as enhanced settings and imaging features. It also comes with Microsoft Office, Nokia Music, Camera, and other exclusive Nokia apps. It is available in a choice of yellow, glossy red, white, or black. Nokia has packed in a large non-removable 3,400 mAh battery to power the smartphone, which the company claims will provide up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 32 days of standby time.

If you've been holding out for the 32GB AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520, it looks like you're wait is quickly coming to an end.
