Only a few days after its launch, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has become one of the fan favorites for the PlayStation 5 exclusives this year.
The second installment to the Insomniac's take on the masked hero offers various new upgrades and improvements from the first Spider-Man game in 2018.
Among these changes are the introduction of new fun ways Peter Parker and Miles Morales can traverse the bustling streets of New York City.

Here are some of the sensational spider tricks you could try while playing:
1. Web Wings + Web Shooters Combo
In exchange for fast travel restrictions, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 gave players the power to glide through the city with Web Wings super early in the game.
True to its name, the dynamic web attachments make Spidey zoom across the city via air currents. Combining it with the force boosts from web shooter swings allows the two Spider-Men to reach great speeds never before imagined.
Players can even fly from each map's endpoint in a matter of seconds if they time it right.
The Web Wings can be used by simply pressing the triangle button after Spider-Man reaches enough height to glide.
2. Swing Assist Off
Experience the actual difficulties and thrill of being Spider-Man as you adjust the Swing Assist option to decide how much control you have over your movements.
Maneuver across tiny gaps and structures on your own, make it, or break it.
All the behind-the-curtain magic is gone as you now have to adjust your swings, landings, and bounces by yourself without the game holding your hands at all times.
The steep learning curve of the feature allows experienced players to take on new challenges while progressing through the story.
It is not recommended for newer players to mess with Swing Assist immediately, but veterans and risk-takers will surely much more about the dynamic physics of the game. The Swing Assist is set at the default Level 10 control assist.
3. Midair Tricks
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 amps the game with its cool midair tricks from the previous Marvel's Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
The game now offers more tricks for old and new players alike to explore and gain awards. Just simply hold the square button while in the air and move the left analog stick to perform various tricks.
Up the ante by trying to achieve the "Hang Ten" trophy that requires players to perform air tricks for 30 seconds without touching the ground. Sound difficult?
4. Symbiote Time
Along with the new traversal skills to get, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 introduces the Venom symbiote suit.
Progressing the story allows Peter and Miles unlock new symbiote skills they can use for both fighting and travel.
What is exciting about the web-swinging part of the symbiote suits is its design changes to the other superhero suits in the game and the previous titles.
Spider-Man can also use the symbiote tentacles to gain a temporary boost while mid-air, sort of like a double jump. This allows for more time for mid-air tricks or the kick-up you need to reach a certain location.
Of course, we cannot forget that the symbiote just really looks cool.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was released on Oct. 25 and has received a 91% on OpenCritic. The game is an exclusive on PS5.
