Taylor Swift Fans Reached Record-High Data Use During Eras Tour

Another cultural landmark for the international pop singer.

Taylor Swift fans reached another record-higher number of data usage during the American singer's Eras Tour in North America.

Network provider AT&T recorded a staggering 28.9 terabytes of data used during Taylor's three-day concert at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, last April, The Verge reported.

The company noted that 1TB of data is equal to 200,000 photos or 400 hours of video. The 28.9TB is a staggering number of pictures and videos for a single day.

AT&T also reported 20.2TB of data during Talyor's appearance at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The number is only eclipsed by rodeo fans at 24TB.

The Eras Tour also marked record-breaking data usage across nine other locations in North America.

The telecommunications network provided the 5G+ network for the stadiums. The company did not have data records for the other stadiums that lacked 5G+ towers.

North American fans have also been recorded to spend $5 billion in the US alone.

Then there's the Eras Tour film, recording a $92.8 million profit on its opening night at the local box office and $30.7 million more on international cinemas.

At least 1.08 million people attended 16 of Taylo's shows with an average of 72,000 spectators per concert.
