Pick up a free 6.3-inch AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega for a limited time

You can score the 6.3-inch AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega phablet for free through the carrier's online store for a limited time.

When Samsung introduced the Galaxy Mega last year, it surprised anyone who thought the Galaxy Note 2's 5.5-inch display was as big as Samsung was going to go with its smartphone lineup. The Galaxy Mega is more comparable to the Sony Xperia Z Ultra's display size, coming in at a whopping 6.3-inches. The phablet is perfect for anyone who wants to combine a smartphone with a mini tablet.

Samsung has also included some of the popular and exclusive software features found on the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3. You'll be able to use Air View, which will allow you to simply hover your finger above the Mega's screen for an instant preview of messages, photos, emails, and more without ever having to touch the display or open its accompanying app. Multi Window is also on board, and allows you to run two programs simultaneously in a split-screen view, which is another area where the 6.3-inch display shines.

AT&T is now offering the Samsung Galaxy Mega in Nova Black for free for a limited time. You'll need to order through the carrier's online store to take advantage of this deal.

As a reminder, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega features a 6.3-inch 1280 x 720 PLS TFT HD display with a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch (ppi). Samsung has packed in an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, 4X zoom, can record 1080p Full HD video and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies. The phablet's wireless connectivity options consist of 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and GPS.The company has also included an IR-blaster that turns the device into a universal remote control, which includes a built-in program guide.
