Snapchat+ Celebrates Milestone With New Tools

Initially launched in 2022, Snapchat+ members enjoy various ways to express themselves through AI. The subscription tier allows users to create original Generative AI Bitmoji Background, transform using Dreams, and converse with My AI.

As part of celebrating a new peak on its run, Snap added more tools enabling users to create, edit, and capture images through visual conversation. Snapchat+ members can now create and send a Snap to their friends by typing a prompt to the AI.

In addition, users can take advantage of the AI-powered extend tool for photos that are zoomed way too close. Dreams can now also be done with friends and each subscriber can get one free pack of eight Dreams per month.

Snap Remains Optimistic for Subscription Tier

According to Snap, the company is targeting to reach 10 million users for the service in the "medium term." Now standing at seven million, which is estimated to bring around $350 million a year, it is possible to achieve.

Aside from exclusive features, the company has also been using the service to roll out early access to new features. Feedback from the members is used to improve the features before it gets released to all users.

Snapchat+ is now the company's main driving force to generate revenue aside from advertising. Currently, the service costs $3.99 a month. All the new features are rolling out to the members across all regions.
