Tubi Offers Free DC Titles to Watch

Tubi might be on to something good as it partners with entertainment giant, Warner Bros. Discovery. With the recent deal, Tubi users will be able to watch recent DC movies and TV shows soon, all without having to pay for a subscription.

In a press release, Tubi revealed more details about the upcoming offers and the ad-supported video-on-demand service. Owned by Fox Corporation, the content will be part of Tubi's partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery.

There are already old movies available from the DC Universe you can watch right now on the Tubi streaming service such as "Batman," "Batman Returns," "Batman Forever," "Superman: The Movie," and "Superman II," as reported by Gizmodo.

As for TV shows, you can watch "Batwoman," "Gotham," and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." If you're looking for newer titles released by DC, Tubi will not be adding them to the library until 2024.

Tubi Chief Content Officer, Adam Lewinson said in a statement that the addition of recent blockbuster movies and fan-favorite TV shows from the DC library is a "monumental offering for Tubi viewers," as well as expressing his appreciation for the partnership with Warner Bros.

If you can wait long enough before you subscribe to other streaming services that have these titles, you can watch newer movies like "Aquaman," "Black Adam," "Birds of Prey," "Green Lantern," "Suicide Squad," "The Batman," "Wonder Woman," and "Wonder Woman 1984."

On-demand in December will also include animated content like "Batman: Death in the Family," "DC Showcase: Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam," "The Death of Superman," "Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox," "Son of Batman," and "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies."

For TV shows, you can watch "Blade: The Series," "Judge Mathis," "People's Court," "Stargirl," and "Swamp Thing." That's only for DC titles. The partnership is bringing other titles from various genres, particularly horror like "Annabelle," and "Doctor Sleep."

Where to Watch DC Movies

If case you can't wait for the 2024 release of the more recent titles, you can subscribe to other streaming services that offer those titles. For instance, you can watch several movies on Max, which you can subscribe to for $15.99 without ads.

The movies you can watch there are "Suicide Squad," "Wonder Woman," "Justice League," "Aquaman," "Shazam!," "Joker," "Birds of Prey," "Wonder Woman 1984," Zack Snyder's Justice League," "The Suicide Squad," "The Batman," and "Shazam! Fury of the Gods."

The next best thing would be to subscribe to the $9.99 Max plan, which will have ads. If you prefer to not pay at all, then it's best to wait for Tubi's releases. Of course, subscribing to Max means you'll also have access to HBO exclusives you wouldn't find anywhere else.
