Replacement parts for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be offered along with access guides for do-it-yourself repairs.

The foldable phones will be joined by the entire S23 series, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, and the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series for this month's batch.

There is no price yet as to how much the replacement parts for the foldable phones will cost. Both phones are yet to be included in iFixit's Samsung page.

iFixit Self-Repair Program Offers Pricer but Accessible Samsung Parts

Samsung first announced its partnership with iFixit summer last year as a more accessible way of acquiring certain parts and tools when repairing broken phones.

Samsung assured that the prices for the program are the same as it is with "affiliated repair providers." The cheapest parts for the latest phone series are charging ports priced at $59.99.

iFixit also offers replacement kits for other phone brands, including parts for Google Pixel Fold at around $900.

The program is being offered in the US and 30 other countries in Europe.

Of course, there are still repair stores available in malls and town centers.

Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5 Rundown: Improvements and Issues

Samsung's newest installation to its flagship foldable phones is received with a thumbs up for many longtime Samsung enthusiasts.

While there are not many improvements from the previous foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 offer better OS upgrades and new hinges that fall flat.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is comparatively better than the Flip 5 but still retains the main issue of durability that has plagued foldable phones since it was first announced.

Both phones were released early August this year.
