However, it doesn't mean we can't try anymore. Recent innovations in artificial intelligence can help us better understand how to make and design websites.

Here are some AI tools we can use to help us create our very own website:

1. Framer

What makes a great AI tool is its ability to allow the user to freely customize the generated result.

Framer's AI tool does exactly that, giving web designers most of the control over the design, fonts, code, and function of their website.

It works great for beginners who already have an idea of what they want to see with their websites but still lack the technical knowledge to accomplish it through traditional means.

The only drawback is that you really need very specific prompts to achieve similar results. This can be remedied by adding illustrations to your planned website and including it in the information analyzed by the AI to generate the website.

2. Wix

Wix is more beginner-friendly with its artificial design intelligence (ADI) as a dedicated chatbot feature is added to allow users to freely describe the desired design of the website.

The chatbot also gives recommendations and suggestions to the user, a great tool for both new and professional web designers.

Most suggestions are not great or look bland but they can inspire in designing the final product. It's just like browsing for ideas on Google.

3. Hostinger

Unlike the previous two website makers, Hostinger is a dedicated AI website builder. This means most assets and editing will surround prompts.

What it most differs from earlier website builders, are its in-built AI tools that can be used to generate logos, assets, and basic code strings needed for the website's base design.

Additional details and functions will need some long hours of fine-tuning. Also, just a heads up, editing the generated website is not included in the free subscription on Hostinger.

4. 10Web

This website builder is the same as Hostinger in the sense that you need to fork over money just to edit the generated website.

10Web has a much simpler design to help starting designers and coders create their first website but falls short of showing the fundamentals.

It also provides suggestions but is often limited to minimalistic design choices rather than innovate new styles.

The most helpful AI tool in 10Web might be its code generator it will still require some skills and expertise in computer science.

Despite all of these AI tools, completing and adjusting the website still falls into our real human hands.

At best, AI is a helpful resource we can use to accomplish technical tasks when creating and designing websites.
