Meta Targets Affordable Mixed Reality Headset

The discounted prices for the Meta Quest 2 came at the right time as the Quest 3 has been out for three months already. The company has been trying to boost the sales of its VR headsets by producing a more affordable product with an industry-leading content ecosystem.

"Much like Quest 3 made waves as the first mass-market mixed-reality headset to hit shelves, Quest 2 paved the way by ushering VR into the mainstream," the company wrote.

Last month, the company launched its support for Xbox Cloud Gaming, allowing Meta Quest users to enjoy various game titles that are not limited to the ones that the company develops. The cloud access is available on Quest 2,3, and Pro.
