AT&T LG G Flex on sale for $149.99 compared to its normal $299.99 price
You can now pick up the AT&T LG G Flex 6-inch curved display phablet for $149.99 from Amazon, far less than AT&T's current $299.99 asking price.
The LG G Flex is one of the most unique smartphones on the market. What makes it so unique is that it ships with a 6-inch flexible OLED display and has a self-healing coating on its rear that actually repairs itself from minor scratches. When LG designed the G Flex, its flexible display wasn't only about bragging rights. The vertical arching due to the flexible display actually makes the smartphone very comfortable to hold up to a user's face and it also makes it fit comfortably into a back pocket. The curved display also provides excellent viewing angles when watching videos and playing games on the G Flex.
Amazon is currently offering the AT&T LG G Flex for $149.99 when signing a new 2-year contract, which is a much better deal than AT&T's current price of $299.99 online and in retail stores.
As a reminder, the AT&T LG G Flex features a 6-inch curved 1280 x 720 OLED display with a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch (ppi). It's powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU) and 2GB of RAM to provide a fast and fluid user interface. The G Flex includes 32GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but LG has already confirmed it will receive an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat in the near future.
The LG G Flex's camera capabilities include a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and the ability to record 1080p video @60fps, as well as a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. Its wireless connectivity options consist of a 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy), GPS, and NFC. As previously mentioned, LG has also used a special self-healing coating on the rear case of the smartphone that allows it to heal itself from minor scratches. The smartphone ships with a non-removable 3,500 mAh battery that will provide up to 29 hours of talk time.
If you're interested in purchasing the AT&T LG G Flex, head over to Amazon where you can pick it up for $149.99 when signing a new 2-year contract. The retailer is also throwing in free two-day shipping with the order.
