Fujifilm X100VI Specs

The new X100VI shares many of the specifications and features with the larger X-T5. However, it is much closer to its popular predecessor, X100V, making the device powerful in specs while remaining premium and compact.

The X100VI features a 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor. This sensor enhances the image-processing algorithm without compromising the signal-to-noise ratio. It also features AI processing technology, supports the next-generation HEIF image file format, and reduces power consumption.

Additionally, Fujifilm promises a bespoke photographic adventure, as users can take advantage of analog effects like film grain, color depth, and more, depending on their creative palette.

Fujifilm Resolves Shortage of X100V

When X100V launched in 2020, the camera quickly became a sensation after going viral on TikTok. Due to its increased popularity and demand, Fujifilm experienced a shortage of X100V.

To address production issues, Fujifilm relocated its manufacturing from Japan to China. This decision should allow the company to produce more X100VI units and expedite their availability in camera shops.

The X100VI will be available in silver or black, with shipments expected to commence in early March. Additionally, Fujifilm announced the release of a rare edition of the camera, which will come engraved with the corporate brand logo from Fujifilm's founding in 1934.

The extremely limited edition version of X100VI will be sold at $1,999. According to the company, each unit will have a unique serial number. "These numbered X100VI units are packaged in a special, soft-release box that includes a special strap and Fujifilm history cards," Fujifilm added.
