Getty Images Flag Another Royal Family Photo for Being 'Digitally Enhanced'

Getty Images has flagged another picture from the British Royal Family as being "digitally enhanced at source."

The media company issued an editorial alert on Monday to remove a family picture featuring Kate Middleton, the late Queen Elizabeth II, and her grandchildren at the Balmoral Castle in August 2022, just a few months before the queen's death.

A CNN analysis later confirmed signs of digital alterations in at least 19 places in the photo. Buckingham Palace has yet to respond to the latest allegations on the Royal Family.

Second 'Digitally Enhanced' Image Flagged Following Kate Middleton Mother's Day Pic

The editorial "kill order" follows after the Associated Press and Reuters recalled a family photo of Middleton and her children earlier in March for supposedly being "manipulated."

In a post on the Kensington Palace account, the Prince and Princess of Wales' official X (formerly Twitter) account, Middleton admitted to "occasionally experiment with editing," which includes the controversial Mother's Day photo.

Aside from the tampered image, Middleton has not been seen publicly since January following her "planned abdominal surgery."

Kensington Palace has yet to release another picture of the Princess of Wales as it requests the public to respect Middleton's privacy as she recovers from her medical treatments.

Speculations, Rumors Surround the Royal Family Amid Image Manipulation Reports

The Royal Family has been no stranger to rumors and controversies.

The recent editorial recall of the Middleton's photo, however, sparked attention from the internet not seen since the fallout between Princess Diana and the Royal Family.

A good example of the Streisand Effect, the release of the "manipulated" photo has prompted more people, as well as tabloids and magazines, to talk about the status of Middleton and the world's most famous monarchy.

It can be remembered that King Charles III recently announced being diagnosed with cancer and has to take a step back from public appearances.

Most public attendance lately has been delegated to Charles' wife Queen Camilla, another controversial figure, and the king-in-waiting and Middleton's husband, Prince William.
