Roblox Creator Hub Encourages Creators to Develop Games

The Roblox Creator Hub was launched to give access to developers to create games beyond their imagination. Developers are entitled to use the resources, tutorials, and tools at the hub.

The developed games once published will be visible to over more than 66.1 million users across the globe. Currently, there are over 3.1 million Roblox developers that continue to supply entertainment to the game.

However, Roblox is now facing criticism for taking advantage of its younger player base by allegedly encouraging children to use the platform to create games. Corazza was quick to debunk the accusations and assured that the young creators are not exploited due to the benefits given to them by the company.

Roblox Defends Creator Hub, Explains Developers' Benefits

In an interview, Corazza shut down the accusations by saying that the system will always have a flip side. "I mean, our average game developer is in their 20s. But of course, there's people that are teenagers - and we have hired some teenagers that had millions of players on the platform," the CEO clarified.

In addition, he also explained that Roblox Studio gives generous offers to its more creative teenage users. The head reported that the studio offers nearly $1 billion every year in total for supporting the developers.

"For them, you know, hearing from their experience, they didn't feel like they were exploited! They felt like, 'Oh my god, this was the biggest gift, all of a sudden I could create something, I had millions of users, I made so much money I could retire," he added.

Regardless, the company also stated that the majority of the people earning money from Roblox are over the age of 18.
