Moto 360 teased in official Motorola demo – Check it out (VIDEO)

The new Android Wear has been among the most exciting topics at Google I/O 2014, and Motorola has now released a new teaser video for its upcoming Moto 360.

Android Wear is Google's new platform specifically designed for wearable devices. The company took the wraps off the new OS at its Google I/O developer conference on Wednesday, June 25, and showed off three devices: the LG G Watch, the Samsung Gear Live, and the Moto 360.

While the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live have already gone up for pre-order on the Google Play Store, the Moto 360 will not arrive until later this summer. Motorola had previously said the same, but some enthusiasts were still hoping the smartwatch would launch at the conference.

Many were disappointed that the Moto 360 is not yet ready to go on sale just yet, but Motorola has nonetheless released a new teaser video to further boost anticipation for the device.

"Moto 360 sets itself apart with a design that reimagines time for the modern era - a distinctive round display, carefully chosen materials, and fine craftsmanship all while keeping you on track and up to date without taking you out of the moment," Motorola touts in a new blog post on Thursday, June 26.

"Moto 360 also responds to your voice. Just say 'Ok Google' to ask questions like 'What time is the US versus Germany soccer game today?' or 'Is it raining?' You can also use your voice to schedule an appointment send a text, set an alarm or take a note," the company further adds.

The two-minute teaser the company posted now gives the world a better glimpse at what to expect from the upcoming Moto 360, showing off the smartwatch's design and features. The video runs through the feature set, showing how the Moto 360 will handle notifications, voice commands, and others, and also shows several watch faces that will be available at launch. Motorola said that it will add more options once its device hits the market.

The video still gives no clue as to how much the Moto 360 will cost, but the smartwatch is expected to be priced similarly to the LG G Watch, which costs $229, and the Samsung Gear Live, which costs $199. The Moto 360 will not launch until later this summer, but you can watch the new demo video below to see the smartwatch in action.
