LG G3 Mini (Beat) poses for the camera next to flagship G3

The rumored LG G3 Mini has surfaced yet again, this time appearing in some actual photos that allegedly reveal its design.

LG recently launched its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G3, which boasts top-notch specifications that make it one of the best Android handsets currently available on the market. The company is nonetheless expected to keep up with the "Mini" trend and launch a smaller version of its flagship.

The LG G3 Mini is rumored to launch as the LG G3 Beat, sporting a more compact form factor compared to the LG G3 flagship. The device has now leaked in some alleged photos, along with some of its specifications.

The images in question surfaced on Chinese website PCPop (via Le Journal Du Geek) and claim to show the LG G3 Mini, while also confirming some of the previously rumored specifications.

According to this new leak, the smaller LG G3 will sport a not-so-mini 5-inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood, clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.

Other purported specs of the LG G3 Mini, or Beat, include 16GB of internal storage capacity, an 8-megapixel rear camera that boasts the same laser auto focus as the flagship LG G3, dual SIM support, and a 2,500 mAh battery. On the software side, the handset will reportedly run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. In terms of design, the LG G3 Mini looks identical to its big brother, save for the more compact form factor.

The upcoming LG G3 Mini is expected to make its debut in China at first, where it will reportedly launch as the LG G3 Beat. The handset is rumored to come with a price tag of roughly 2500 yuan, which would translate to about $400.

Currently no details are available regarding the device's initial launch in China, which means that it also remains unclear for now just when it will make its debut in the U.S. and Europe. It also remain unknown at this point whether it will launch as the LG G3 Mini or the G3 Beat outside of China.

We'll keep you up to date as soon as more information surfaces, but for the time being it's highly advisable to take everything with a grain of salt, as it's all based solely on leaks and speculation.
