The stylish Dell Venue 10 7000 convertible tablet is now officially available for purchase in the U.S., as it just went on sale on the company's website.
Earlier this month, Dell officially unveiled its new Venue 10 7000 and said the slate was set to hit commercial availability soon, but no specific information was available as to when exactly it would arrive. Fast forward to present date, and the tablet is now on sale in the U.S.
The Dell Venue 10 7000 has stirred lots of interest since its debut, as it comes with high-end specs and features all around. The slate comes in three configurations to accommodate different needs and budgets, but the hardware specifications remain the same. The Dell Venue 10 7000 features a 10.5-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and packs an Intel Atom Z3580 processor under the hood, paired with 2GB of RAM.
Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, a 7,000 mAh battery, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The tablet comes with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage capacity. An optional keyboard dock, meanwhile, will turn it into a small notebook.
The three configurations Dell has to offer include a Dell Venue 10 7000 with 16GB of internal storage, a 16GB variant with a keyboard dock, and a 32GB model with a keyboard dock.
"With a sleek design, 10.5-inch OLED touch screen and optional magnetically attachable keyboard, the Venue 10 7000 Series is designed to impress," Dell touts.
As previously mentioned, the Dell Venue 10 7000 is now available for purchase directly from the company's website. The slate starts at $499 for the 16GB model, goes up to $529 for the 16GB model with a keyboard dock, and tops at $679 for the 32GB version with a keyboard dock.
It's worth pointing out, however, that only the 16GB model with keyboard is ready to ship now. The other two configurations will roll out next week, on May 4.
