Asus Launches New Line Of Motherboards

Taiwanese tech company Asus is known for its reliable and high functioning hardware and hardware interior. The hardware maker has announced a new range of motherboards that shows off all the hardware models included in the lineup  for some upcoming devices. Asus has  introduced the Z170 lineup of motherboards, which features four different ranges of the company's motherboards.

Manila Bulletin has named the high-end Republic of Gamers, the Pro-Gaming motherboards which belong to the midrange, the ASUS signature and the TUF series as part of the complete lineup for the Z170 series. The new series of motherboards will be maximizing the sixth generation Intel core processors, which the technology firm released early this month.

Asus claims that the motherboards are equipped with technology that allows all of them to provide users with devices that perform better than other motherboard series can. The company's official site claims that the new line of motherboards works six times as fast as its predecessors and competition. "Z170 represents a significant leap forward in chipset bandwidth. With 20 PCIe 3.0 lanes (compared to 8 PCIe 2.0 lanes on Z97), Z170 delivers more bandwidth for cutting-edge storage devices such as PCIe M.2 x4 and NVMe (including U.2) drives." Asus added that the devices have native features that enable the said functions all the more.

The new motherboards come with the USB 3.1, which supports both Type A and Type C USB. They also feature high-quality audio, ideal for providing its users with immersive gaming experience. The Z170 line also offers protection from sources that produce and generate heat. The Dual PCle M.2x4 enables this function for the motherboards.

Maximizing the powerful sixth generation Intel core processor means high-quality gaming experience for those who will be using the motherboards. After all, the chipset supports wireless devices and lets users play 4K videos as well. Intel has launched the new chipset early in Sept and has said that the new family of processors features over fifty different types. The chips are currently rolling out to laptop brands such as Dell and Hewlett Packard.

"With over 500 million motherboards sold, Asus is the No.1 motherboard maker and as always keen to offer breakthrough, easy-to-use, stable and trusted motherboards to the market. We are proud to introduce our complete Z170 Series motherboard lineup for extreme performance and the best user experience," said corporate vice president and general manager of Worldwide Sales at Asus Open Platform Business Group, Jackie Hsu.
