Capcom Confirms Karin Kanzuki on Street Fighter 5 at Tokyo Game Show 2015

Karin Kanzuki is making her way back in Street Fighter V's lineup of playable characters, offering more credibility to the conviction that the game is a follow-up to Street Fighter Alpha 3. In a stage exhibition at the Tokyo Game Show this year, Capcom revealed the much-awaited character's comeback. Karin positioned first in a Japanese survey for the next character that fans desired in Street Fighter V.

Capcom has deep-rooted that Karin Kanzuki will join the roster of playable characters in Street Fighter V. Karin's last appearance was in 1998's Street Fighter Alpha 3 as a rival to Sakura Kasugano. Karin has a quick dash, making her a parallel character to Rashid. Karin is the young heiress to the Kanzuki Zaibatsu, a global financial corporation.

As for Karin Kanzuki's profile, her regal and spoiled background is what led to her high-upkeep arrogance and razor-sharp wit. But in arrears of her graceful golden locks lies a factual martial artist infatuated with upholding her family slogan. Karin is well skilled in several martial arts, which she and her clan pooled together to build an exclusive Kanzuki fighting style.

Capcom's Peter Rosas labelled Street Fighter V's Karin Kanzuki as a well-rounded personality. She has a new dash move that lets her close the distance swiftly and go in for rapid high-low assaults or a throw.

Alongside the appearance of Karin Kanzuki, Urien and Alex were also believed to be a part of the playable characters for Street Fighter V earlier this year. Rashid was the latest character exposed.

In addition to the new playable characters declaration, Capcom also unveils the Capcom Fighters Network, a public terminus that will be constructed into Street Fighter V to allow players to compare statistics, replay videos as well as send fight invites and catch up on all community bulletins.
