Microsoft Office 2016 Helps You De-clutter

Virtually every work computer uses Microsoft Office. It's one software that almost everyone needs for the many uses it serves: the entire Office suite lets you present, make, send and sort data. The Redmond giant should indeed make it work and make it work even better as it updates regularly. Now, the new Microsoft Office has officially rolled out and it looks like Microsoft has delivered with this one.

The Office 2016 has had its worldwide release on Tuesday, Sept 22. The new Microsoft Office has introduces some useful features, all geared towards better performance. Want to get rid of unwanted emails? Leave Clutter to de-clutter your inbox. The feature can be found on Outlook, and it studies the user's habits regarding emails. If it deems an email to be 'noise' in the user's inbox, Clutter will move it to a folder labeled 'Clutter'. It will notify the user so he can check.

Another time-saving function of the Office 2016 is the 'Tell Me' bar. News Australia says that the new feature cuts out time spent in clicking and searching for functions a user needs. 'Tell Me' directs the user to a specific function directly. Office 2016 also features real-time co-authoring. While the feature is already in Microsoft's web apps since 2013, it will roll out to Microsoft Word this time around.

The 'Smart Lookup' is also another exciting function for Office 2016. Highlight a word from the page you are currently browsing, and the insights toolbar will open, showing definitions of the word in the context of what you have been reading. These are just some of the features of the Microsoft Office 2016. The official blog iterates more of what's new in Office 2016.

"This marks a milestone in delivering new value for Office 365 subscribers with a focus on collaboration, apps that work for you, a perfect pairing with Windows 10, and security features businesses will love," Steve Koenigsbauer, corporate vice president for Office Client Application and Services team, said in the post. Office 2016 for Mac, as well as the improved Office 365 service, have also been released.
