Microsoft Purchases AdxStudio To Improve CRM And Web Services

On Monday, Sept. 28, Microsoft has announced its acquisition of longtime partner, AdxStudio. AdxStudio has been a provider of web portals and online engagement solutions, among others, for Microsoft's Dynamics CRM. The two companies have reached the agreement and AdxStudio will be further involved in helping Microsoft customers improve web service engagement.

According to a blog post the software giant has released, many organizations and businesses are looking for more efficient ways to connect with and engage their followers online. Since AdxStudio builds on such technologies and Microsoft said that the company is committed to deliver solutions which will help in the engagement between organization and customer, the agreement is an important step for both companies.

"Packed with compelling features that extend Dynamics CRM to the Web, Adxstudio Web portals are built natively on Dynamics CRM, allowing our customers to easily connect and extend their key sales and customer services business processes online," the post said. In addition, the portals work hand-in-hand with the CRM for customers who are either online or on-premises. Microsoft also said that AdxStudio can work with the company's Parature Services.

The Redmond giant also cited that the deal comes with pre-built engagement solutions that include partner relationship management for organizations that sell products using other channels. Among those that are included are technical support for software organizations and engagement solutions for senior citizens, which are made to cater to public sectors. All the solutions are to be available in both cloud and on-premise.

Microsoft said that this step allows organizations to be "web-facing". "We are dedicated to giving companies intelligent customer engagement solutions so they can deliver customer experiences that are personalized, proactive and predictive." The new acquisition is also poised to make customers feel empowered as they are encouraged to build their own CRM website and engagement with organizations has become easier.
