Samsung Gear S2 Is Now Available In Four Countries

Samsung has first unveiled its latest smartwatch during the IFA event in Berlin, held on Sept. 4 to Sept. 9. On Friday, the Samsung Gear S2 has been made available in four countries following announcements of its launch. The Samsung Gear S2 has already enjoyed good feedback from when it was first showcased in the IFA event. Now that it has officially been launched, users may be eager to get the device on their wrists.

And for good reason. The new smartwatch has been reported to be more stylish than its predecessor and contemporaries, as it strikes the right balance between visibility and design. Having a screen size of 1.2 inches, the display is big enough to see and small enough to wear, like a regular-sized watch. The device has been made available in Samsung's native South Korea, Singapore, Germany and the United States.

Gizmag remarks that Samsung has taken more time to work on the details of the Gear S2, and it has paid off. The watch is equipped with a rotating bezel, which is its main control. It allows users to scroll on the screen horizontally, and the bezel may be used apart from the touchscreen feature. Samsung has also made a smart design decision in putting the Home and Back buttons on the side of the watch. This keeps the user's fingers from blocking the small screen.

The Samsung Gear S2 packs in 4 GB memory, Wi-fi and Bluetooth. The 1.2-inch screen has the Super AMOLED display technology and has a 1 GHz dual-core processor. The watch is easily customizable, as many watch faces have already been made available for the wearable. Gear S2 also comes in two styles, Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic. The first offers a more casual and contemporary design, while the second offers the watch in classic leather and black finish.

iSchool Guide calls the watch the "best" Samsung has came up with. Given the features and aesthetics, it is not hard to see why. The Gear S2 can also be paired with smartphones, and works well with phones that run Android 4.4 or higher, according to Samsung Tomorrow
