Microsoft To Bring Back ‘Xbox Daily’ Live Show, Xbox FanFest At E3 2016

Although Microsoft's E3 media event still over a month away, the Redmond tech firm has already revealed its plans for the big-time gaming show. Earlier, the company had announced the dates and venue of the event.

At its E3 briefing, Microsoft plans to showcase the entire games it announced previously, in addition to screening the game trailers that are scheduled for release later in 2016 and thereafter. All these trailers were never seen before, Xbox Wire editor Will Turtle said in a blog post. The show will begin at 9:30 a.m. PST on June 13 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

In addition, the Redmond, Washington-headquartered tech titan, has announced that it will be re-introducing the "Xbox Daily" live show, which will feature new announcements and also interviews with developers. This hour-long show will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. PST on June 14 and June 15. According to the blog post, the show will be streamed live on Twitch as well as from other destinations.

At the same time, Microsoft will also bring back the Xbox FanFest in 2016. At the E3 2016, the Xbox FanFest will be held from June 13 to June 15. Tickets for the event will only be sold to 500 people on a first-come, first-serve basis. This has been done to ensure that only dedicated Microsoft fans can get an opportunity to enjoy the event, Slack News reported.

The fortunate few who would be able to manage tickets for the Xbox FanFest will enjoy a few special perks including entry into the Xbox E3 briefing, an opportunity to play the exclusive and biggest blockbuster games that are scheduled for holiday release and also meet some of the top developers and influencers of the industry.

Meanwhile, Xbox fans are keen to know whether Microsoft will eventually announce a new game console at the E3 2016. Last month, there were reports that Microsoft may possibly make an announcement regarding a new Xbox device at its E3 briefing. However, as of now, the company is yet to make an official announcement regarding a hardware upgrade or successor to Xbox One.
