Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Note 6 Set For Release This 2016

Samsung has been quietly keeping the buzz as media circuits have been busy with speculations on the company's latest addition. However, customers are yet to wait on the new Galaxy Note 6's actual release date.

Yes, it is happening and the most recent rumor says that it is due for release a few months from now, according to Value Walk. The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 phablet is also set to be paired with a toned-down version of the Samsung Note 6 called Note 6 Lite.

This more affordable version of the Note 6 would also get released the same time as the main smartphone. Also, the Galaxy Note 6 Lite will have some features unavailable to that of the Note 6. The company is said to do this move as a way to make mass market audience more reachable and allow more users on a limited budget to still get their hands on the brand's latest addition.

On the other hand, previous reports were gracious enough to suggest some of the Lite 6's specs would closely resemble those of the Note 6. The Lite 6 would still be comparable to the main smartphone.

One other speculation is that the Note 6 Lite would be marketed to select Asian markets for now. This proposed plan was a brainchild of Samsung's as a way to test its waters with their strongest markets.

In related news, PC Advisor UK says that Facebook-counterpart Weibo also revealed that the company is not stopping with the Galaxy Note 6 Lite alone. The Chinese microblogging site says that the Lite would belong to a trio of new gadgets that Samsung would also be releasing in the months to come. This flat-faced phablet would be unveiled together with a curved screen version. Also, the Note 6 would also come in a SIM-free option, waterproof as well as dustproof.
