With the official open beta launch date just around the corner, Razer has introduced a whole set of gaming gear for Blizzard Entertainment's online first person shooter, Overwatch.
Razer is one of the world's leading companies when it comes to gaming peripherals and accessories. Its new set of PC gear is comprised of Razer's well-loved gaming gears, specially customized for Overwatch players.
First in the set is the Overwatch Razer Man O'War Tournament Edition analog wired gaming headset. According to its description on the official Razer website, this headset is designed for both performance and comfort, ideal for long gaming sessions. It comes with a retractable mic with inline volume controls, which is perfect for Overwatch, as the game is entirely reliant on team-based strategy. Players can give out orders and plays real time. The headset comes with a 3.5mm combined audio jack and splitter, and can also be used on mobile devices and other gaming consoles. Aesthetically, Razer did not disappoint with the Overwatch logo and the sleek black and yellow color scheme.
Next on the list is the Overwatch Razer BlackWidow Chroma mechanical keyboard. The BlackWidow Chroma has always been one of the gamers' top gaming keyboards due to its award-winning Razer Mechanical Switch, which has an increased durability of up to 80 million keystrokes. Overwatch Razer BlackWidow Chroma will be no different. Its dynamic lighting effects changes in real time depending on what is happening in-game, including abilities, cooldowns and signature character colors.
It can't be a real FPS game without a trusty mouse, hence the Overwatch Razer DeathAdder Chroma gaming mouse. Its ergonomic shape and rubber side grips are perfect for Overwatch and many other games, making it the top choice for eSports athletes. The DeathAdder also has dynamic lighting effects, similar to the BlackWidow Chroma, and will also change based on in-game actions.
The DeathAdder Chroma matches perfectly with the Overwatch Razer Goliathus Extended Speed mouse mat. This mouse mat is optimized for all sensitivity settings and sensors, and has an anti-slip rubber base, allowing for smooth gameplay on the battlefield.
"We're proud to give Overwatch players an even more immersive experience with incredible audio and ideal hardware with custom-designed themes and in-game Chroma lighting effects," Razer founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan has said in a press release. "Overwatch is among the most dynamic and visually impressive games I've experienced in years, and the peripherals we've designed with Blizzard add a whole new dimension to the fun."
The mouse, mouse mat and keyboard are available today on the Razer Store. The Man O'War headset won't be available until next month, but fans can pre-order now. Overwatch will start its open beta May 24th.
