Why 'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Sucks; Double Weapon XP Event On 'Black Ops 3'

The first trailer for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" has been released, but it did not sit well with most fans. Well, the video's dislike button says it all. While people continue to anticipate what could have gone wrong, they will be happy knowing that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be having a double weapon XP event over the weekend.

Activision uploaded the first reveal trailer for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" on YouTube. Sure, it gained massive impressions, as it already accumulated roughly 24 million views. But if people will look closely at the dislike button, they would be surprised, as it got a whopping 2.4 million dislikes (contrary to the 300,000 viewers who pressed the like button).

Sorting through the video's comment section, one can easily ferret out that fans were not happy about it. Some argue that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" should have not gone to a space-like setting, while there are those who say that the new game is a complete rip-off from the likes of "Titanfall," "Star Wars Battlefront" and "Halo," among others.

Simply put, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" did not fail to disappoint the franchise's huge fan base. And sure enough, Activision did not see such havoc coming. Nonetheless, the title is still worthy of a benefit of a doubt. After all, the game is yet to be released and it is only right if gamers have an idea of what it is really going to be like.

As pointed out by Cinema Blend, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is set for a Nov. 4 release this year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The game's biggest competitor, however, is "Battlefield 1" that is bound for an earlier release. But then again, things go in a lot of ways for Activision's upcoming title.

Meanwhile, gamers are in for a treat, as "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will have a double weapon XP over the course this weekend. According to VG247, the event is scheduled for all gaming platforms and will take the curtains off by Monday, May 23.

It should be noted that the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" double weapon XP event will only cover the, well, weapons. It is not meant to increase the players' rank, but it is meant to be used in unlocking gun attachments.
