Review On Dell XPS 13 2016

Most of the reviews agree that Dell XPS 13 is a good machine that delivers excellent performance and a good value for its price.

According to Windows Central, Dell XPS 13 is on the list of the best laptops currently on the market and is made by a well-known brand in the field. Dell's XPS (Xtreme Performance System) laptops are designed to compete directly with ultramobile devices such as the Microsoft iPad Pro and Surface Pro, Lenovo's ThinkPad series of laptops and Apple's MacBook range.

Statistics show that Dell's PC shipments declined by 0.4 percent in the first quarter of 2016, compared to the same period last year. But for Dell this is not bad news, as the company is doing pretty well in a sector where the global industry declined by almost 10 percent.

According to International Business Times, the 2016 version of XPS 13 is not very different than the previous model of last year. But being one of the best laptops on the market, it does not really have a reason to change much.

Dell XPS 13 comes with an excellent display, extending almost to the edge of the laptop's lid. Dell's innovative design of what the company calls "Infinity Display" makes it possible to fit a 13-inch laptop in the chassis of an 11-inch laptop. This makes it a laptop ideal for traveling.

The look and design of this year's model are not much different compared to last year's, but the added value is on the inside. Dell XPS 13 features a range of Intel's sixth-generation Core i processors. This is a big selling point when compared to the less powerful Core M processors available in Apple's MacBook.

Compared to last year's chips, the so-called Intel Skylake processors provide superior processing power and also allow a much more efficient use of the battery. The manufacturer claims that the battery life of XPS 13 on full charge will last 15 hours of use.
