'Dark Souls 3' Update: Trilogy DLC To Be Unveiled During E3? Update 1.07 Improves Gaming Experience
It is no secret already that developer FromSoftware will release a new "Dark Souls 3" DLC. However, it is still a mystery as to when it will be. Reports suggest that the studio might finally unveil it during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
According to Christian Today, Kadokawa Games, which is FromSoftware's sister studio, is set to conduct a presentation at E3. And among its highlights is the much talked about "Dark Souls 3" DLC. The said event is scheduled from June 14 to June 16 this year.
It holds true, too, that there are rumors about the game being released some time in August. Either way, fans are expected to be treated a trilogy, which will conclude the series as a whole.
The first and second "Dark Souls 3" DLCs in the upcoming trilogy are bound for fall 2016 and early 2017, respectively. The third, however, has yet to have an official release date.
This is certainly a treat for the fans. Nonetheless, it should be noted that "Dark Souls 3" will serve as the last installment in the titular franchise. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki has already confirmed that they have no plans in developing any sort of follow-ups and/or spin-offs.
In related news, Breathecast reports that the update 1.07 for "Dark Souls 3" has been unleashed. It is set to fix various in-game issues in hopes to improve the gaming experience of players.
Among the many fixes "Dark Souls 3" update 1.07 brings is the improvement for the password matching rate. Moreover, it is designed to give out necessary tweaks to the efficieny of the game's several categories (i.e., Great Shield, Moonlight Gear Sword, Magic Spell, Dark Rift and Crescent Axe, among others).
In terms of the weapons stat, "Dark Souls 3" update 1.07 is believed to have no huge difference from update 1.06.
