According to a post via Venture Beat, ahead of the AT&T launch, the full specification of Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has been revealed already. The users need to take a closer look of the recent revelation of the unit's specifications. The unit is revealed to be water and dust resistant.
Talking about the unit's dimension, it has 9.9 mm thickness. It weighs 185 grams. Its battery covers a 4000 mAh capacity. It is 15 percent greater than the previous model, which only has 3500 mAh. Its display is 5.1 inch and a 1440 x 2560 pixel Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm. It features 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It will also run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The unit's camera features a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front or selfie camera. The unit benefits from a dual pixel sensor, which improves low-light image capture.
According to Android Police, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is the ruggedized version of Samsung Galaxy S7. It means that it comes with a different chassis and has a bigger battery. Although AT&T is yet to acknowledge the phone's existence, the release date is already shown.
As reported by Phone Arena, the previous benchmarking of the said units is half real. It is because some of those that came out from the leaks are not present anymore in the recent images of the device. It is clear that it will be launched on June 10.
