'Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3' Update: DLC 3 Release Date Remains Vague, To Arrive First For PS4

It is needless to say that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will soon be getting a new content. However, the DLC 3 release date remains a mystery, and fans are still speculating.

According to GottaBeMobile, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3 is likely to arrive in June. This is also the month when E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) will happen. Hence, many believe that Activision might unveil the said DLC as part of its presentation at the said event.

E3 is bound to happen from June 12 to June 13. Sony is reportedly scheduled for the latter, which is Monday. So far, it is confirmed that the company along with Activision will be talking about the upcoming "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

Nonetheless, there are rumos that Activision and Treyarch will pursue an earlier date (prior to E3) to release "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3. Of course, this is unless Activision opts to share the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" spotlight with the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3.

Moreover, if E3 will certainly be the debut venue of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3, then the company is likely to do the introduction via a trailer. This is only right, as the event is deemed as one of the go-to avenues for upcoming titles. Above all, it will keep the DLC's hype engine revving.

The Christian Daily, on the other hand, points out that it is actually best for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" to be released a week after E3. This could certainly make a great headline, with the game being introduced during the aforesaid event.

It is also worth noting that once DLC 3 is released, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" PlayStation 4 owners will be the first ones to try it out. This is simply due to Activision's exclusive deal with Sony. But of course, the downloadable content is still expected to arrive across all platforms.
