New ‘Street Fighter V’ Character Ibuki Teaches Guile A Lesson

"Street Fighter V" fans are in for a treat, as Capcom introduces yet another character into the game's roster. The newly released trailer finds the young female and up-and-coming ninja known as Ibuki taking the spotlight, showcasing her deadly moves.

According to Anime News Network, Capcom released via YouTube the "Street Fighter V" reveal trailer for Ibuki. While this confirms the addition of the said character, it remains unknown as to when the studio plans to unleash her.

The trailer introduces Ibuki, along with her swift ninja moves, in a fight against Guile. From fiery kicks to hard-hitting blows to lethal combos to illusion techniques, Ibuki is without a doubt an interesting "Street Fighter V" character to play with.

It is worth noting that Capcom has just recently added two new characters. These are Guile and Alex, both were added in DLCs released in April and March, respectively.

Ibuki is best known for her arsenal moves, something that the previous installments have grown to witness. And indeed, in the latest "Street Fighter V" reveal trailer, she seems not to rust at all. As for her attacks, her bombs are said to be a new addition to her set of skills. And by the looks of them, they can be really deadly.

Attack Of The Fanboy, on the other hand, notes that the fight scene between Ibuki and Guile features the Kanzuki Estate's daytime version. This, in one way or another, could be one of the new stage variations that "Street Fighter V" will soon introduce.

Ibuki will be made available as a downloadable character. But for players to get hold of her, they have to utilize the in-game Fight Money. Or, if they want to, they can use real-life currency and purchase Ibuki at the "Street Fighter V" store.

"Street Fighter V" is the latest title in the popular fighting game franchise. The game arrived to North America and Europe on Feb. 16, making huge waves across PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 4.
