‘Romancing SaGa 2’ Remake To Arrive In PS Vita In English Language

"Romancing SaGa 2" proved to be a massive hit when it was first released in 1993. In fact, there have been talks about the possible remake of the title over the course of years. And finally, Square Enix's Akitoshi Kawazu announced that they are already working on the game's English version for PlayStation Vita.

According to Tech Times, the titular game designer and producer took to Twitter to reveal the company's plan on pursuing a "Romancing SaGa 2" remake. Akitoshi Kawazu said that they are officially starting the development phase for the English version of the game.

It should be noted that the same version has already been created, only that it was made available for iPhone and/or Android. Now, Square Enix is taking a step higher in hopes to release the "Romancing SaGa 2" remake for PlayStation Vita.

While this could be an interesting thing for the fans, they still have to wait a little bit longer for a PlayStation Vita port. Nonetheless, this is still worth a wait.

PlayStationLifeStyle, on the other hand, notes the series creator also asked the "Romancing SaGa 2" fans to make patience their virtue. Well, they should be, as the remake has yet to acquire an official release date.

The original title arrived to Super Famicom in 1992. However, it was only in 2005 when the game finally hit North America for PlayStation 2. "Romancing SaGa 2" even grew to be inconsistent in terms of release dates. Although it was released in 1995, it experienced a worldwide release after a few decades.

With everything that had happened, it is safe to say that fans have long been eager to experience "Romancing SaGa 2." Sure, they can always play it using their mobile phones, but the experience in console alone is quite different.

"Romancing SaGa 2" follows the story and legend of the great Seven Heroes. They are to battle the demons that threaten to bring chaos to the world. And while they are successful in bringing peace and justice, the so-called heroes vanished without a trace.
