Google Celebrates Robert Moog’s Birthday With Playable Synthesizer; Other Top 10 Interactive Doodles So Far (Video)

Google has brought out another creative and interactive doodle as a tribute to the electronic music maestro Robert Moog on his 78th birthday. Visit Google.com and the users will find that the logo is a playable synthesizer with a four-track recorder. One can adjust dials on the synthesizer, turn switches on and off and play sounds on the keyboard.  Users can also record and playback their creations and then share them through a short link or Google+.

Commenting on the same, Ryan Germick, chief Doodler at Google said, "I've been a lifelong fan of Robert Moog even before knowing who he was, just loving the sounds of electronic music. We're always looking for interesting things to celebrate, particularly in the arts and sciences."

Robert Moog was born on May 23, 1934, in Queens, New York. In 1964, Moog invented the synthesizer, becoming a pioneer of electronic music.

This is not the first time that Google has created a playable Doodle that celebrates music legends or other historians.
