'Tom Clancy's The Division' Update: Underground DLC Offers Randomized Missions

The first paid "The Division" DLC is going out soon, thanks to Ubisoft. The upcoming "Underground" DLC has a lot to offer -- from exploring areas beneath New York City to earning new in-game currencies. But above all of these, fans should be enthused knowing that new gears can be unlocked through randomized missions.

According to Inquisitr, the forthcoming "The Division" DLC will find players in a new area called the Base of Operations. It is located off of the so-called Tactical Operations wing. From here, they will be treated to matchmaking hub, amenities and crafting table, among others.

The new "The Division" DLC, which is titled "Underground," will include randomly generated labyrinths and/or mazes for fans to explore. They should be careful, however, as these missions are accompanied with traps, a number of enemies and whatnots.

Good thing, though, is that "The Division" players will be able to select missions according to their own preference. This is done simply by setting the mission's difficulty level, the directives involve and the number of phases included.

Regardless of modes (normal, hard, challenging and heroic), the same in-game currency reward will be given to "The Division" players. The said currency reward is called "Directive Intel" and is used to purchase additional options whenever setting up missions.

Moreover, once these "Underground" mission are accomplished, "The Division" players can expect great rewards. From new gears to the aforementioned currency, cool stuff are at hand.

GottaBeMobile, on the other hand, cites one of the features of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC "Underground." It is called the Underground Operations. And unlike the standard ones, it presents a new kind of mission in which players find themselves in the depths of almost-not-functioning Manhattan.

In the Underground Operations, "The Division" players will be up against some evil guys and vigilante groups - all of which are wreaking havoc on the town's infrastructure and entirety. In terms of functionality, Ubisoft deems it as something akin to dungeons found on most fantasy-themed games.

With the new "The Division" DLC, players will surely find the need of a teammate in order to survive. But they, the harder the challenges are, the better the rewards will be.
