Unique Beauty And Power: Closer Look At Lamborghini Aventador Miura And New Mercedes AMG GT-R

There are known classics in the world of automobiles, some of them worth definitely worth revisiting and reproducing. Then again, there are also units that, no matter how new and modern, have very quickly become classics in their own right as well.

The Lamborghini Miura was made available for purchase during the years of 1966 and 1973. It is said to be one of the most beautiful cars ever made - both for its sleek exterior and Lamborghini's innovation of a two-seater, mid-engined sports car. Upon its release, it was the fastest production car.

In a well-deserved salute to that 60's car, Lamborghini has released their new Aventador Miura Homage, which definitely looks like the more modern version of its predecessor. According to C|Net, the unit is available in six colors, which were original to the Miura line. Another classic aspect taken from the original is the two-tone paint job given to the Aventador Miura Homage.

It sports the Miura badge on one side and the Lamborghini logo in the bag. Inside, the seats are stitched with a Miura anniversary logo. "Lamborghini" is also embroidered on the leather dashboard.

Internally, the car has a 6.5 liter V12 engine, which produces 700 horsepower. Only 50 cars will be made available. These numbers are a far cry from the 380 horsepower and 764 units of the original.

Meanwhile, Mercedes Benz has also updated their AMG GT, with a bright green AMG GT-R. Despite its rather loud color, it is quite beautiful as well. According to The Verge, Mercedes calls it the "AMG Green Hell Magno," which is an homage to the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

The unit runs tops up at 198 mph and can go from 0 to 60 in a quick 3.5 seconds. It has 577 horsepower, 516 pound-feet of torque as well.

The publication claims that is it much like the AMG GT-S, which was released a few months back. Much like the AMG GT-S, but bigger, louder and bolder.
