Xbox One Backward Compatibility Finally Includes 'Red Dead Redemption' To The List, Official Arrival Date Announced

There is no doubt that June proved to be a busy month for Xbox One Backward Compatibility. However, it seems the momentum does not stop there. July has come and Microsoft is still adding more new titles to the feature. Now, the most highly anticipated of all, "Red Dead Redemption" has been confirmed to be part of the list. An official arrival date for the said game has been revealed as well.

Since Microsoft announced the set of games made available for Xbox One Backward Compatibility, lots of fans have already been hoping for Rockstar's open-world western-themed title to be included. "Red Dead Redemption" has been in the rumor mill for a while, but was only just recently confirmed.

Finally, as reported by Tech Times, "Red Dead Redemption" will be made playable on Xbox One Backward Compatibility come Friday, July 8. As is the case with all of the titles in the feature, the list of games shall appear as "Ready to Install" in the menu.

As for players who own a disc format of the aforementioned game, they just simply need to insert it to the Xbox One disc tray. Doing so will enable them to install the game using Xbox One Backward Compatibility at ease.

While the inclusion of "Red Dead Redemption" to Xbox One Backward Compatibility is a celebration, there are still a number of games worthy of being on the list. In fact, as reported by Express, the likes of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" and "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" have been on the wish list of many fans.

It is also interesting to know that Rockstar's title was made available to Xbox One sometime in 2016. However, it all happened due to an error. It was not really meant to be released on the console at that time. Regardless, the game is already confirmed for Xbox One Backward Compatibility. This will surely bring some nostalgic chill to every gamer's spine.
