'Pokemon Go' Servers Still Down; Gamers Experiencing Log-In Issues, GPS Location Errors, Authentication Problems And A Ton Of Other Bugs

"Pokemon GO" has officially been launched in the United States, and the game has been a massive hit. Surging to the top of both the iOS and Android app stores, the augmented reality title has proven to be very popular among gamers. So popular, in fact, that the servers of the game have been crashing quite consistently since the game was fully released.

With "Pokemon GO" being downloaded hundreds of thousands of times immediately after the game went live, the servers of the game quickly became very crowded, to the point where a significant number of players were unable to play the game, reports Forbes.

What has gotten players of "Pokemon GO" apprehensive, however, is the fact that as of Friday, which marks the third day the game has been online, the same server issues that have plagued players during day one were still present.

This is not all, however, as even players who were actually able to log in and load the game on their mobile devices were faced with several notable errors. iDigital Times notes that "Pokemon

GO" players have been faced with issues involving errors on the game's items, progress level, and audio, to name a few.

With the server issues being so persistent, and with several aspects of the game seemingly bugging down, many "Pokemon" fans who have been looking forward to the release of "Pokemon GO" have voiced out their frustration in social media.

In response to the massive waves of complaints from frustrated gamers, Kotaku notes that the official "Pokemon GO" Twitter account has assured gamers that the developers of the augmented reality title are already attempting to address the game's server issues.

"Pokemon GO" has captured the interest of both casual gamers and avid "Pokemon" fans alike. By utilizing the camera and GPS of smart devices, the game simulates catching real-life "Pokemon" in the wild.
