There is a big possibility for a third season of "Rick and Morty" to air sometime next year. Fans of the show can now purchase games and collectibles inspried show as well.
The creator of "Rick and Morty," Dan Harmon, recently said that he has been thinking of a season three storyline for the show by contemplating the things that occurred in the past two seasons. There is even a possibility that Evil Morty will return to the show in the upcoming season.
As recalled, Evil Morty first appeared on the show during its first season when he played the enemy who was responsible for the death of alternate Ricks and the kidnapping of the alternate Mortys. Dan Harmon is admittedly excited in revisiting the first two seasons of "Rick and Morty" to create a storyline for the third season.
Mobile and Apps reported that as per the synopsis, the third season will show Rick who is a superstar behind bars in a galactic prison while Morty encounters a fake Rick and befriends him. There are also speculations of a conflict that will arise when Evil Morty kidnaps the real Rick.
There have been allegations that the third season for "Rick and Morty" will premiere by August of this year. However, this was denied by the creator himself, saying that he could not give out a specific date for it. Although, he does claim that their team is still trying to work things out for the third season already. Thus the third season may premiere in 2017 already.
Aside from the update on its third season, the "Rick and Morty" show will be presented by the USAOpoly in games, puzzles and playing cards as reported by Broadway World. There will even be a "Rick and Morty" Puzzle that will be released in August, a "Rick and Morty" Monopoly in September as well as "Rick and Morty" Playing Cards.
There will also be Adult Halloween costumes of the "Rick and Morty" characters for fans of the show. In addtion,"Rick and Morty" headphone tags will be introduced by Astro Gaming
There is a lot in store for "Rick and Morty" this year, and not just good news about the upcoming third season. Different merchandise representing the show will be available as well.
