Fans of Geroge R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series are now very excited for the upcoming release of its sixth installment entitled "Winds of Winter." There have also been speculations that the upcoming season 7 of "Game of Thrones" will be based off the "Winds of Winter" book and an alleged seventh installment to the book series.

The release date of "Winds of Winter" has been very much demanded by avid fans of the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin. There have been allegations that the book will not be released soon since George will allegedly adjust the storyline to the plot of "Game of Thrones" season 7, as reported by Game and Guide.

The announcement on the delay of the premiere of "Game of Thrones" season 7 has led the fans to speculate that this was to give way to George R.R. Martin's book release. This was led by the allegations that the "Winds of Winter" will be released by December 2016 and the "Game of Thrones" season 7 will premiere by 2017.

It has been five years since the last installment of "A Song of Ice and Fire" was released and people have long been waiting for the next. There are also reports claiming that the long wait of the "Winds of Winter" is because George R.R. Martin is planning to release it with the seventh book to be entitled "A Dream of Spring" according to Morning Ledger.

Regardless of the reason for the delay of its release, fans are still eager to finally get a hold of the "Winds of Winter" when it comes. It has also been revealed that each of the characters in the "Winds of Winter" will have their own storyline as opposed to "Game of Thrones" season 7 wherein the characters are all interlinked with each other.
