Google Play Store Offers Bubble Zoom: Makes Marvel, DC Comics Reading Easier

Google Play Store is currently offering the Bubble Zoom. This new Android app makes Marvel or DC comics reading easier.

Bubble Zoom allows readers to zoom in the speech bubbles in the comic book they are reading, according to PC Mag. This app was developed by Google to specifically recognized speech bubbles which are uniquely used in comic books.

The zoom app basically enlarges a bubble the reader would like to read, according to Forbes. This app is very useful to comic readers because it does not disrupt them from seeing the other images in the page. To enlarge the bubble, simply double tap it.

Comic books are a combination of texts and beautiful drawings. However, once the comics have been digitized, reading them has become quite tedious until the release of Bubble Zoom. Readers buy and read comic books not only for their story lines but their great drawings as well.

Reading comic books in its digital form however, can often be a pain especially if the reader is using a mobile phone. Readers often losses the flow of the story line as they struggle to read the small text bubbles. If they enlarge it, the bubble will occupy the whole screen and must resize it again.

Google first revealed Bubble Zoom on July 21 during Comic-Con held at San Diego, California. Company representatives told the audience that app will soon be used by every digital comic book and manga reader.

Unfortunately, Bubble Zoom is only limited to Marvel and DC comic books available at the Google Play Store. Incidentally, Google is offering the comic books at half of the price to readers who could buy them before the July 24 deadline.

The potential of this machine intelligent app goes beyond comic book reading. Google just created a reading tool that could help readers scan vast digital documents.
