'Pokemon GO' Goes Live In Hong Kong, Servers Currently Stable; Game Becomes Most Downloaded App In Apple Store!

If there is a mobile game that makes people enjoy the outdoors (again), it is no other than "Pokemon GO" from Niantic. The game has recently arrived in Japan, signalling its forthcoming in other Asian countries. And now, it has finally been broadcasted in Hong Kong, with servers already going stable. Meanwhile, the hit title has been deemed as the most downloaded app in Apple Store.

"Pokemon GO" was already confirmed to hit the Asian landscape. Indeed, it arrived, with the Japanese fans being the first Asians to enjoy it. After all, the Land of the Rising Sun is where the Pokemons were born.

Now, as stated in the official "Pokemon GO" Reddit page, Niantic has brought the hit mobile game to Hong Kong. At around 11:30 AM (GMT +8), the game's maps were already working. And at exactly 11:45 AM, the title has officially been broadcasted in the aforesaid country.

In the "Pokemon GO" official Twitter account, the game has been announced available in the city. Fans are encouraged to put on their shoes, "step outside, and explore the world" with the game. For interested Hong Kong players, here is the iTunes link for the game.

As of this writing, "Pokemon GO" servers in the aforementioned country are stable. No glitches and/or issues have been reported. In fact, lots of players have already went out on the streets, trying to catch their first Pokemon.

In related news, "Pokemon GO" has reached a new miles stone. Niantic's latest title has become the most downloaded app in Apple store, according to 9To5Mac. Although the tech giant did not release the official numbers, they have announced that the game has broken the record for the most number of downloads during its launching in the said store.

The popular iOS app deems "Pokemon GO" number in both of the Free and Top Grossing Top Charts. And take note: such success has been acquired despite being introduced to select countries. The triumph could go beyond as soon as its availability is made worldwide.
