Dark Souls 3 Guide: How To Defeat Bosses Without Getting Killed

In Dark Souls 3, players have their own ways of defeating monsters and/or bosses. Regardless, the latter rather presents a more complex experience. But hey, a player was actually able to defeat them without sweat. And what is even more interesting? No damage was taken -- not even a single hit.

Almost all Dark Souls 3 fans will agree that there is no secret formula to defeating bosses. Heck, defeating even a single one without taking damage is almost impossible to do. Or, is it really that impossible?

Well, for Twitch streamer and Dark Souls 3 fan, The Happy Hob, it is actually not. According to GameRant, the aforesaid player was able to complete the feat of playing the entire game without taking a single damage from the hoard of monsters. Yes, even the great names such as The Nameless King and Pontiff Sulyvahn, among others, fail miserably.

As showcased on the video uploaded by the aforementioned Dark Souls 3 player, the run started at around 4:47. It wraps things up at around 9:05. The fact that he defeated the monsters without taking a single hit is already very impressive. But take note: he did not use any magic of some sorts -- he did it simply by using melee attacks, as reported by Eurogamer.

It should be noted that The Happy Hob is just one of the people who played Dark Souls 3 with such excellence. He is considered as the third player to do so. Among the triumphant players is FaraazKhan (a Twitch streamer as well), who was also able to finish the game using a no-hit run strategy, though he bailed on most bosses in the long run.

Dark Souls 3 is confirmed to receive two additional DLCs. The first one expected to arrive this year while the second is slated for early 2017. If these contents are anything like the previous Souls contents, the expansions could introduce more challenging feats.
