Lenovo Air 13 Launched With Specs More Powerful Than The 13.3-inch MacBook Air; Full-Body Comparison

One of the biggest aspects that sell a unit is its convenience. When it comes to notebooks and laptops, portability is the greatest asset. And because of this need, the MacBook Air was the one to pick for quite a while now. However, it was only a matter of time until a direct competitor for the MacBook Air arrived in the market. And it has, in the Lenovo Air 13 Pro.

The MacBook Air has been a staple since its first release in 2008. It has built a name by being one of the most portable gadgets in the market. According to The Bit Bag, the 13.3- inch variant is only 1.7 cm thick and 12.8 x 8.9 x 0.7 inches all around. It weighs in at an impressively light 1.35kg.

The MacBook Air runs smoothly with 8 GB of RAM and an option of either 128 GB of PCIe-based flash storage or 256 GB of PCIe-based flash storage. Users also have the option between an Intel i5 or i7 processor to power the unit. The graphics are backed by a 13.3 inch LED backlit glossy widescreen display.

The MacBook Air runs on OS X El Capitan.

On the other hand, the Lenovo Air 13 Pro is thinner since it is only 1.48cm at its thickest. It is also lighter, as compared to the MacBook Air, at just 1.29kg.

Ecumenical News adds that the Lenovo Air 13 Pro has a variety of options, which depends on RAM. The company's lowest end offering is 4 GB or RAM, which goes up to until 8 GB.

Only the best variant of the Lenovo Air 13 Pro will be powered by the Intel i7 processor. That is, those that run on 8 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the lower-end models will be powered by the Intel i5 processor. The units will have 256 GB of SSD storage.

Windows 10 powers the Lenovo Air 13 Pro.
