'The Originals' Season 4 News & Updates: Klaus Mikaelson Faces New Villain To Save Grown-Up Hope's Life

As "The Originals" get ready for its fourth season, the cast members of the series reveal juicy yet broad details of the show. Aside from the five-year time jump, there is a lot more to expect on the show.

During the San Diego Comic-Con held last month, the cast and crew of "The Originals" gave away a few details about what s to expect in season four. In addition to that, a video trailer has also been released depicting the future of the Mikaelson family.

The official trailer for "The Originals" season 4 depicts a five-year time jump from the season 3 finale. It shows a grown-up Hope, the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall. According to Parent Herald, there is also another child actor that will appear on the fourth season. This child may be one of the children, alongside Hope, who will be among the children of New Orleans that needs to be saved.

There are hopes that the Mikaelson family will be able to save the children of New Orleans from what seems to be a new villain coming up in the fourth season of "The Originals." It seems like despite the fact that Marcel is seeking revenge, he may not be the main villain of the upcoming season, as reported by GameNGuide. Marcel will allegedly only turn to the dark side at the influence of someone else.

A new villain will allegedly be the one to turn Marcel to the dark side, playing with his emotions of wanting to seek revenge on the Mikaelson family. Actor Neil Jackson will appear in the fourth season of "The Originals," playing a very vicious vampire.

Appearances from other cast members from "The Vampire Diaries" may be expected this season.  Fans are now awaiting how Hope grew up to be, and how her family is going to save her from unfortunate circumstances.
