The "One Punch Man" season 2 release date has not yet been revealed, however, there have been more and more revelations about its upcoming storyline. It looks like Saitama will be facing a new major villain in the season.

"One Punch Man" season 2 may be bombarded with new villains as hinted by the creator, Yusuke Murata. The second season will allegedly be power-packed as well since more characters will be entering the plot.

According to Movie News Guide, Saitama's defeat of Lord Boros in the previous season of "One Punch Man," may not necessarily mean the end of the villain. Being the leader of Dark Matter, Boros will not be taking his defeat as easily as others. Looks like the villain will be coming back and may be the major villain of the second season.

From a previous iTech Post report, the comeback of Boros may show a more intense fight between him and Saitama. This could add to the statement made by the creator of having a power-packed season.

Among the other villains that Saitama will be facing in the second season are Amai Mask and Garou. They will be trying to take down Saitama due to Garou's bitterness that he carries around with him. That bitterness will then be acted on in the upcoming second season of "One Punch Man."

However, despite the speculations of more villains to be faced off with Saitama, it's not all that bad for his fate. Reports claim that he may be getting a romantic storyline on the second season and even a love triangle for that matter. Although there hasn't been any confirmation from the creator himself about the love story in line for Saitama, unending rumors of the matter has indicated that there may be truth to it at all.

"One Punch Man" season two may allegedly be released by October this year but there isn't any confirmation to that yet.
