Apple iOS 10 Update: Beta Software Now Open To Public, New Features Revealed

About a month from now, Apple is set to release the new iOS 10 software. A lot of people are excited about this new development and they are eager to see what are the new developments that it has to offer. But according to an article published by BGR.com, some users have been able to use it as early as June.

Apple released the software as a beta for developers and then the company also released the public beta of it. These betas allowed users with devices that are compatible to taste the upcoming software before its official release. Users were able to use it on their iPads and iPhones.

Yahoo reports that Apple made iOS 10 public beta 4 was made available to users the following day that iOS 10 Developer Beta 5 came out. Based on the reviews, the two versions are almost identical even if they have different designations.

A user who wants to use the beta can go to beta.apple.com and sign up using an Apple ID. There will be instructions on the screen to download the file and once that is done, the update should be available under Settings.

On iOS Developer Beta 5, there are a number of significant updates that are available.  The Music app is the one that has received the most significant changes according to users. Other features that were changed includes the Notification Center, Control Center, and the Lock Screen.

The Apple Music is getting a new input icon. Third party widgets are getting darker backgrounds than before. When the screen of the device locks, it will have a sound similar to that of a door closing.

The changes all seem insignificant right now, but that has not dampened the interest for the upcoming official release of the iOS 10 in the iPhone 7.
