NBA Rumors: Sixers' Nerlens Noel Is Back On The Trading Block, Celtics A Possible Candidate

Rumors are now circulating around Philadelphia 76ers big man Nerlens Noel after the former 6th overall pick send a random tweet on Wednesday night. According to the reports from Yibada, Noel, a Malden, Massachusetts native, has posted a rare tweet that talks about his love for his city. The internet is now hinting for a possible trade to happen any time soon. Noel have also been on the same situation this offseason.

The 22 year old big man, together with his teammate Jahlil Okafor, had been engaged to several trade rumors since the organization drafted Ben Simmons at number 1 last June. The former LSU standout adds up to the loaded frontcourt of the team. The rumors got even louder as the team has announced that the 2014 3rd overall pick, Joel Embiid, and European sensation, Dario Saric, will be coming to the team this season. With this loaded frontcourt, the team will most likely ship one or two players out before the season officially opens on October.

According to Nesn, analysts have been speculating that Noel is expected to be shipped out. In contrast, Noel is also 'very open' to leave the team if that is the team's desire, although he is not directly asking to be traded. Meanwhile, the not-so-old trade rumors between the Celtics and Sixers around Noel could still happen. The Celtics reportedly still have a 'high level of interest' for Noel. With the team drafted Jaylen Brown on draft night, they could use another rim protector to assist Al Horford in the paint.

The 2013 sixth overall pick, Nerlens Noel, averages last 15-16 season with 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and an impeccable 1.5 blocks in 29.3 minutes per game over 67 games. With his latest tweet, will the rumored trade finally happen?
